Pait has been selected by the North Carolina Coaches Association (NCCA) to serve as head basketball coach for the 2027 NCHSAA East All-Star Team.
The East-West All-Star Basketball Games for both men’s and women’s teams will be held on July 20, 2027, at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex’s Novant Health Fieldhouse. Games are at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.

West Bladen Volleyball Levels Up at ECU Camp!
While summer usually means downtime for many, many of the West Bladen High School volleyball players have been busy grinding on the hardwood. Our Knights recently traveled to East Carolina University (ECU) to participate in an intensive volleyball camp. The camp provided a high-energy environment where the girls didn't just play, they evolved. A huge program like ECU doesn't run without incredible leadership and mentorship. The team wants to extend a massive thank you to Coach Adler, Coach Nicole, and players Taryn and Emma, for pushing the girls out of their comfort zones, and for investing so much time into the future of West Bladen Volleyball. Bring on the season!
Our West Bladen Senior Beta members took Nashville by storm at the National Beta Convention! Competing against schools from across the country, many with full chorus programs, auditions, and resources far beyond ours, these students placed in the TOP 10 IN THE NATION in both Show Choir and Large Group Performance.
These students worked tirelessly, practicing right up until they walked on stage, drawing crowds in the halls of the Gaylord Opryland. Their hard work paid off as they broke school records for group competitions and proved that talent, determination, and a whole lot of heart can compete with anyone in the nation.
We are incredibly proud of how they represented West Bladen, not just for their performances, but for their behavior, sportsmanship, and ability to make friends everywhere they went. Most importantly, they had an unforgettable time.
Top 10 this year... Top 5 next year. We're already claiming it. Congratulations, Betas!
