🦁🐘🦒 Knights Gone Wild at the NC Zoo! 💜

Our Knights of Excellence had an AMAZING day at the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro on Wednesday! What a wonderful opportunity for our students to step outside the classroom and experience learning in a whole new way! From seeing incredible animals up close to exploring the zoo with friends, the day was filled with excitement, laughter, smiles, and unforgettable memories. This trip was about so much more than seeing animals. It was an opportunity for our students to practice communication, social skills, independence, and real-world life skills while enjoying a fun-filled day together. We are incredibly grateful to the generous individuals who helped make this experience possible for our students. Our Knights were able to enjoy a special adventure that they will remember for years to come. Watching their excitement and seeing the smiles on their faces reminded us that some of the very best learning happens beyond the classroom walls!

Coincidentally, today happens to be Random Acts of Poetry Day! We love seeing our students grow in confidence, sharpen their communication skills, and bring a little joy to our day. 📚👏
