Senior Sunrise is almost here!
Join the Class of 2026 on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM at the West Bladen Football Stadium.

Enjoy a free breakfast with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, fruit, juices, and Knights Cafe while watching the sunrise together.

You can preorder through school cash online or pay in person by cash or check. There will also be a fall plant sale starting September 15th. This morning, we celebrated our newest team members at the annual New Employee Breakfast — a warm welcome to those joining Bladen County Schools!

All week, these talented educators have been learning and preparing for the year ahead with district administrators and NC New Teacher Support Program Instructional Coach, Carrie Brewington. Through the district’s Beginning Teacher program, these educators will continue to receive guidance, resources, and encouragement throughout their first three years in the classroom — because great teaching grows with great support.

🌟 Meet Mrs. Natasha Cromartie! 🌟

A proud Bladen County native, Mrs. Cromartie joins the West Bladen High School family after three years of service at Elizabethtown Middle School. She also brings more than seven years of experience from the North Carolina DMV Customer Contact Center, where she provided dedicated service to the public.

Mrs. Cromartie is married to William Cromartie, Sr., and together they are the proud parents of four children — including one East Bladen High School graduate and two current seniors at East Bladen.

When she’s not working, Mrs. Cromartie enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, and line dancing 🤠👢.
