West Bladen High School students participated in the annual bus evacuation drill and viewed the school bus safety video this morning. Student safety is always a top priority at WBHS, and that extends to the buses that transport our students each day.

This morning, we celebrated our newest team members at the annual New Employee Breakfast — a warm welcome to those joining Bladen County Schools!

All week, these talented educators have been learning and preparing for the year ahead with district administrators and NC New Teacher Support Program Instructional Coach, Carrie Brewington. Through the district’s Beginning Teacher program, these educators will continue to receive guidance, resources, and encouragement throughout their first three years in the classroom — because great teaching grows with great support.

🌟 Meet Mrs. Natasha Cromartie! 🌟

A proud Bladen County native, Mrs. Cromartie joins the West Bladen High School family after three years of service at Elizabethtown Middle School. She also brings more than seven years of experience from the North Carolina DMV Customer Contact Center, where she provided dedicated service to the public.

Mrs. Cromartie is married to William Cromartie, Sr., and together they are the proud parents of four children — including one East Bladen High School graduate and two current seniors at East Bladen.

When she’s not working, Mrs. Cromartie enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, and line dancing 🤠👢.

If you are a public high school senior with a weighted GPA of 2.8 or higher who meets course requirements, you will be matched with colleges where you already qualify — no traditional application required.
