THIS WEEK AT WBHS (Oct. 31st - Nov. 5th)

This week at West.....
This week is full of exciting events, and it will surely be one to remember as we prepare for homecoming and senior night against rival, East Bladen. Here’s a run down of the spirit week days for students and staff. Any student that does not wish to participate is expected to meet dress code requirements. We will not allow face painting, leggings or jeggings, nor clothing with holes in it, including pants with holes in the knees.

Monday - Oct. 31st -
*Movie Character Day
*Soccer at Wallace Rose-Hill

Tuesday - Nov. 1st
*Ballers vs. Scholars vs. Hunger. In order to dress up on Tuesday, we are asking students to bring in a jar or peanut butter or jelly. We will donate this to those in need in our community.
*Junior and Senior College Fair
*2:50 p.m. in the cafeteria Credit Recovery and 21st Century Programs begin
*4:00 p.m.Tennis Conference Competition continues at West
* Soccer at Trask
* 7:00 p.m. Annual Powder Puff Game vs. East Bladen

Wednesday, Nov. 2nd
*Dress for success on “Work It Wednesday”.
* Soccer at Midway

Thursday, Nov. 3rd
*We’re taking it back, with “Throwback Thursday”, where students go back to a decade before 2000
*JV Football at East Bladen

Friday, Nov. 4th
* “Freak Out Purple Out Friday”.
* UNCP on campus for interested Seniors
*Track Parade at the beginning of pep rally
*Pep Rally Skits, Games, Cheers, SURPRISE, and Homecoming King named
*5: 30 p.m. Gate opens for West vs. East Football Game Anyone with a pass should go to the pass gate. Those with money to the regular ticket box entrance.
*6:16 p.m. Pre-Game Track Parade
*6:30 p.m. Senor Varsity Football and Cheerleader and Marching Knights Recognition
*7:00 Kickoff
*Halftime Activities Club/organization representatives recognized. Homecoming nominees recognized and Homecoming Queen named. Homecoming King recognized.
* Post Game - Homecoming Bon Fire ....... with s'mores!!!

Saturday, Nov. 5th
* SAT administered at West. Campus closed from 7 until 2
* 4:00 Marching Knights (Band) compete at Southview
