CREDIT RECOVERY/21st CENTURY at WBHS

The WBHS Credit Recovery and 21st Century Programs will begin at West Bladen on Tuesday, November 1st. Students are invited to become a part of the programs. Anyone needing tutoring, additional help, etc. is welcome to enroll in the 21st Century Program. A STEM activity will be offered on Mondays for all participants and tutoring in Math, English, Science and Social Studies on Tuesday - Thursday. The program begin at 2:50 in the cafeteria with a snack and ends at 5:30 p.m. A bus will be available for students to ride to Bladenboro Middle, Clarkton School of Discovery, Tar Heel Middle in the afternoons. Credit Recovery is available for students who have failed a course. Students work on a computer generated program (APEX) on material that the teacher of record for the failed class has requested be completed. A grade of 60% must be achieved on each computer generated segment. The student receives a grade of P on the transcript to replace the failing grade. Contact Ms. Sharon H.
