WHO ARE WE?

The Bladen County Educational Foundation, Inc., is a private, non-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of North Carolina and which has been designated as a non-profit, tax-exempt organization by the State of North Carolina and

Section 501(C) of the Internal Revenue Code.  The corporation was founded in late 2005 by

David Wall, Gary Grady, and Dr. Margaret Lawrence.

WHAT DO WE DO?

The Foundation was formed to help provide the students and educators who attend and work in the public school system of Bladen County with additional monies and material support to enrich their educational and teaching experiences.

Our goal is to make the entire educational experience in Bladen County more rewarding and satisfying one, which will benefit all of the people of Bladen County.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

It’s easy - Express an interest in assisting, show up, and help us to help Bladen County’s public schools.  With the exception of the      Summer months, our monthly meetings are generally held on the 3rd  Tuesday of each month in the Public Meeting Room

of the Bladen County Board of Education on US Highway #701, South, in Elizabethtown, beginning at 5:30 P.M.

These meetings usually last no longer than 30-45 minutes.  If you would like to learn more about our Foundation, please call

David Wall at 862-1488, or Valerie Newton at 862-4136.
