If you have questions about dress code, attendance, or discipline, review the 2017-2018 Code of Conduct.  A copy will be sent home with your child on the first day of school.

At WBHS students are required to have a school issued Chromebook or bring their own device.
 If you did not get to the school to get your Chromebook or do your BYOD paperwork on August 14th ---- you have one more chance.!!!!
August 21st from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. will be the last laptop deployment
Your chromebook is waiting for you! 
 REMEMBER...August 20th at midnight is the end of the Early Bird $40.00 discount.  Pay online at the Bladen County Schools' webpage or go by the school to get your $10.00 discount BEFORE midnight on August 20th!!  Paying early also means you do not have to wait in line to pay at the school on the night of the 21st!!
Start the year off right and have your device ready for use the first day back!!

WBHS Freshman Orientation- August 17, 2017

Knight Orientation for the Class of 2021 will take place on Thursday, August 17th at the castle.
9th graders should be at the school by 9:00 a.m. for this event. They can be picked up at 12:00 p.m.
This is a time for freshmen to meet their teachers, administration and other staff and find their classes.
They will also learn about graduation requirements, course offerings, and extracurricular activities at the castle.
Door prizes will be given out.
Knight t-shirts will be available for purchase.
Snacks will be available for purchase.
Every member of the Class of 2021 that attends will get a free ticket to the August 22nd Volleyball game vs. Fairmont High.
See you at the castle on August 17th WBHS 9th Grade Knights!
NOTE:  Open House for freshmen AND parents is on August 22nd from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

WHEN AND WHERE: Monday, September 25th in the West Bladen High School Cafeteria

WHAT: An informational night on financial aid and the college process for our Spanish-speaking community .... students, parents, friends, and family members. Miss Chelsea Krieger, WBHS, and Donna Weaver,CFNC, are presenting this event.

WHO: This event is open to East and West Bladen High School students, 9-12th grades.


Mandatory Football Practice Beginning at West Bladen

Mandatory football practice will begin on Monday, July 31st, 8:00 a.m - 11:00 a.m. All boys that will be attending WBHS are invited to come to practice. Any boys intending to play varsity or jayvee football MUST attend. Players must have a new athletic physical on file before they may participate in practice. Players should bring both cleats and sneakers/tennis shoes. Free breakfast and lunch are available.  For more information contact WBHS Head Football Coach Kris Williams at rkwilliams@bladen.k12.nc.us

Wednesday, July 26th - Friday July 28th, 5:00 until 8:30p.m.

Band Camp


Monday, July 31st and continue through Friday, August 4th.  Camp begins at 8:30a.m.  Plan to stay all day and don’t forget that the school will provide breakfast and lunch.  Check out the West Bladen Marching Knights Facebook page for more information.

Volleyball Information

VOLLEYBALL INFORMATION ... FROM COACH DAVIS

Open Gym July 24 and 31 from 8:30 to 10:00. Must have an updated physical on file to attend.

Tryouts are Aug 1 and 2 from 7:00am to 9:00 am.  Must have a currnet physical and be at both days of tryouts.

Save $10.00 with the 2017-2018 Early Bird Laptop Discount!!!

Pay for your Chromebook from now until midnight on August 20 and save $10.00 - Early Bird cost is $40.00. After midnight the payment is $50.00. The first scheduled deployment is on August 14 from 11:30 am until 7:30 pm at the school. You must complete the online registration form (found below) in addition to the online payment. Be sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the registration form and select the blue "Submit" button to complete your registration. After completing your registration click the "Buy Now" button below to make your Early Bird online payment.

Soccer Workouts at the Castle

West Bladen High School soccer workouts begin on Monday, June 26th at 8:00 a.m. next week and will be held each day. An up to date physical is required for you to be at work outs.
